PROJECT GOALS

We’re joining people together and creating a sense of community and support across Perthshire, rather than responsibility and blame towards our amazing Young Adults.

HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO IT?

UNLEARNING CAPITALISTIC IDEAS AND BEING OK WITH THINGS

UPSKILLING AND LEARNING HOW TO FIX THINGS AND MAKE NEW

POSITIVE CONVERSATIONS AND GROUP LEARNING

REUSING, REPURPOSING AND REMAKING USING THINGS AT HOME

EMPOWERMENT THROUGH VISUAL ARTS AND STREET ART

MAKING A CLEAR AND LOUD STATEMENT ABOUT WHAT COUNTS

MEETING NEW PEOPLE AND REFRAMING EXISTING ONES

SETTING NEW ROUTINES AND CELEBRATING LITTLE VICTORIES

We are stoked to embark on a transformative journey alongside the vibrant young people aged 16-24 in our community.

At the heart of our endeavor lies a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of young people and empowering them to be catalysts for positive environmental change. We recognize that the future of our planet rests in the hands of these bright minds, and we are dedicated to providing them with the tools and platform they need to express their thoughts, concerns, and ideas.

Through a series of engaging and interactive workshops, we will foster a safe and inclusive space where young people can freely explore their relationship with the environment. Guided by experienced artists and environmental experts, these workshops will encourage open dialogue, critical thinking, and creative expression. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into a wide range of environmental topics, including biodiversity, renewable energy, sustainable practices, and the impact of climate change on our local ecosystem.

But our project goes beyond mere discussions. We believe that art has the unique ability to captivate hearts and minds, transcending language and cultural barriers. Through the creation of stunning murals and impactful artwork, we will transform public spaces into living testaments of our collective commitment to environmental stewardship. These vibrant visual displays will serve as constant reminders of the power of unity and inspire all who encounter them to take action.

By actively involving young people in the artistic process, we aim to nurture their creativity and provide them with a sense of ownership over their local environment. Through collaborative mural projects, they will not only gain valuable artistic skills but also learn about the importance of teamwork, community engagement, and the collective impact of individual actions.

Our project aims to understand and prioritize the environmental concerns and climate change actions that matter most to this generation.

As visual artists, we believe in the power of art to inspire change, and we are excited to explore these crucial issues through free workshops, awe-inspiring murals, and thought-provoking artwork.
